Donald Shrout, 66, of Story, Arkansas passed away July 10, 2019. He was born April 1, 1953 in Visalia, CA to his parents Arthur Shrout and Shirley Scrimshire. Donald is preceded in death by his wife, Kaye Phillips Shrout, mother, Shirley Scrimshire, foster mother, Nora Mayberry, brother, Duane Pace, and foster sister, Helen Mayberry.
Donald is survived by daughter, Donne Kay Compton (Randy), brothers, Daniel Scrimshire (Carolyn), Mack Scrimshire (Sandra), and Russell Scrimshire (Lisa), sister, Rosetta Lenard (Ronny), granddaughter, Hallie Kaylee Compton, grandson, Kyle Compton, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 10:00-12:00 at Thornton Funeral Home in Mount Ida, AR. Service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 2:00 at Reed Cemetery in Story, AR with Bro. Johnny Bratton officiating. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home of Mount Ida, AR. Guest register at www.thorntonfh.com
